The Central Bank of Afghanistan demanded that in all banks of the country a temporary limit on removing money from personal accounts was established – it should be no more than $ 200 per week. The Central Bank Directive quotes the Edition of The Khaama Press.
According to the directive, the decision is made due to the complex situation in the country. The Central Bank prescribed to all banks to resume work and recalled that citizens can translate money online.
The decision of the Central Bank was made after the citizens who were displeased by the closure of banks and exchange items of citizens came to the streets of Kabul. They asked them to give at least some of the money.
Previously, the United States was deprived of the Taliban dollars. Before grabbing Kabul, the Taliban forces (prohibited in Russia), the state administration stopped the supply of dollars and froze the reserves of the Government of Afghanistan on American accounts.
