Rossotrhetic estimated readiness to begin work in Afghanistan

Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov appreciated the readiness of the agency to begin work in Afghanistan. His words in the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF) reports RIA Novosti.

According to Primakov, the work in this country will begin, as soon as the conditions are allowed. He also stressed that conversations about this with representatives of the Taliban (the movement is prohibited in Russia) is not conducted. “In contact with the new authorities, this is officially known, there is our embassy,” he explained.

At the same time, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo noted that diplomats are in contact with political issues in which the subject of the work of the representative office may not be included. “I assume that as soon as the dust is played and the security situation will be more predictable and understandable, we are ready to resume the work of the center,” concluded Primakov.

Earlier, the official representative of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said that representatives of the Taliban radical movement gave security guarantees to Russian diplomats in the capital of Afghanistan Kabul.
