Japan’s self-defense forces during joint training with the pilots of Indian SU-30MKI will receive access to the data of this fighter of the Russian development, writes the Polish portal Defence24.
The publication writes that the relevant training should take place at the end of 2021 at one of the bases in Japan. The publication claims that the goal of the Japanese side is to track such characteristics of the SU-30MKI, as a flight range, fuel consumption, maneuverability, ways to maintain the fighter in operation and the time required to prepare the machine to fly.
“Radar signatures of SU-30 will also be studied at different angles of attack, and Japanese pilots must also be made to flights at least as passengers of a double SU-30MKI,” writes the publication.
Defence24 notes that Su-30, based on Su-30MKI, are available not only in Russia, but also China. “Therefore, a better understanding of this design is crucial for the Japanese and much more important than air cooperation held since 2018 between Indian and Japanese Aviation,” is the publication.
In August, the Defence24 portal wrote that Russia’s military air forces are in the “last moment before the great regress.” “The military-air forces of the Russian Federation continue to remain the second largest air-air forces of the world, but every year their position is becoming weaker. Hundreds of aircraft inherited from the Soviet Union will inevitably be forced to stop the service, and their nothing will replace. By financial and technical reasons, as well as due to the weakness of the Russian industry, “said the publication publishing.
