The leader of the National Resistance Front in Panjscher Province, the son of Ahmada Shah Masuda, known as Panjscher Lion, Ahmad Masood Jr. called on Afghans to rebel against the Taliban (a terrorist organization forbidden in Russia). He published his statement in the account Facebook .
Masood stated that the entire people of Afghanistan should resist oppression. He stressed the “national” nature of the uprising and added that the struggle was conducted “in the name of freedom, religion and independence of the country.”
The leader of the resistance demanded from the international community to “condemn the actions of the Taliban and those who helps him. According to him, “representatives of foreign forces” participate in the attacks of militants.
