In April last year, Chinese media reported the supply of VT-4 tanks to Pakistan. It is believed that initially Islamabad will receive about a hundred tanks manufactured by Norinco. The Military Watch authors emphasize that Pakistan’s tank park completely consists of Chinese production machines. VT-4 will complement the Al-Khalid tank, developed on the basis of copies of the T-72 tank nodes, and Al-Zarrar, based on the base of the Soviet T-54a. VT-4 will be the most combat-ready Pakistan tank. The car received a complex of active protection and a diesel engine with a capacity of 1300 horsepower.
