President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko rigorously criticized the Belarusian football players of the main and youth national teams, having considered them the game “goddock”. This is reported by Ren TV.
During the opening of the Dinamo Minsk club, the Belarusian Leader’s Children’s Football Center noted that “watching the poverty, which today demonstrates football, is unacceptable.”
“So that I don’t even see you! I do not understand why you have released football players yesterday on the field? They went to relax,” said Lukashenko to the head of the Football Federation of Belarus. According to him, he was ashamed to look at the players “on the background of the poor Icelanders.”
Previously urged football players to pay more attention to training. He advised young athletes to train on a daily basis. Lukashenko also recommended them to sleep with the ball under the pillow. “If you do not understand this – you are not football players,” the president concluded.
