Further provision of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan will depend on the actions of the militants of the Radical Movement of the Taliban (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia). This was stated by the head of the German Foreign Ministry Haiko Maas, his words reported TASS.
Diplomat listed the main conditions for the possible interaction of Berlin with the Taliban. Among them, he called compliance with the basic human rights, the preservation of freedom of movement, as well as the struggle against terrorist groups, such as Al-Qaida and the Islamic State (both organizations are recognized as terrorist and prohibited in Russia).
“We are ready to provide humanitarian assistance through the UN line, and we will continue to negotiate with the Taliban at least in order to enable people who are responsible for whom we are responsible to leave,” Maas said. At the same time, he noted that the formation of the government without including representatives of different ethnic groups and groups of the population, as well as violence against protesters, does not contribute to the development of the world community relations with militants.
Earlier it was reported that the front of the national resistance of Afghanistan appealed to the United Nations (UN) with the appeal to stop the genocide, which is carried out by the Taliban in the Republic. Afghans called on the world community, the UN and regional international organizations to intervene in the situation in Panjsheter. They accused Taliban in cruelty to citizens of the country.
