President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko introduced a bill to the Parliament, suspending the Agreement with the European Union (EU) on the readmissions of persons who are without permission. This is reported by Telegram-channel Berta.
The press service of the head of state reported that the document was prepared as a response to unfriendly actions that were taken to the EU against Belarus.
The indicated readmission agreement determines the mechanism of transmission, adoption and return of persons who violated the conditions for entry, stay and residence in the territory of the European Union. The new bill provides for “freezing” of such obligations of the Belarusian side. It is noted that the suspension of their execution is carried out in accordance with international law.
