The Ministry of Finance of Russia has large plans for privatization, but it is not about the sale of liquid companies. This was announced at the Moscow Economic Forum, the deputy head of the departments Alexei Moiseyev, Interfax reports.
According to him, at the moment the authorities are ready to give in private hands only to anyone who is not necessary objects – dilapidated buildings, abandoned areas, long-abandoned industrial facilities.
In other words, the state considers privatization only with respect to objects destroyed as a result of public administration or fell on the balance of treasury simply by decision of the courts, in addition to the will of the Ministry of Finance and Rosimushchesta. Such objects, noticed Moiseyev, the enormous quantity.
The official noticed that literally on the eve of the Accounts Chamber called for large-scale privatization, and in general, the Ministry of Finance agrees with it. However, the deputy minister did not indicate who can act as a buyer of illiquid objects and how this process will help reduce the participation of the state in the economy.
Apparently, Moiseev referred to the article by the head of the Accounts Chamber of Alexei Kudrin. He called on to reduce the share of the state in the economy for the development of the country. According to the economist, the excessive development of state corporations leads to stagnation in innovation and inefficiency. In turn, press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov noted that the Kremlin does not plan large-scale privatization.
