The United States does not seek to conflict or the Cold War with China, but they want to save relationships with open communication channels. This was stated by the spokesman for the White House of Jen Psaki, reports TASS.
The representative of the White House, commenting on the US partnership with Great Britain and Australia in the Indo-Pacific region, said that the agreement was not aimed at any country. She explained that it was “focused on protecting the US strategic interests” and maintain stability in the region. “As for China, we are ready for tough competition with the PRC, we do not strive for the conflict,” said Psaki.
Earlier, the Chinese Embassy in Washington called on Aukus countries (Australia, United Kingdom, USA) to get rid of thinking and ideological prejudices of the Cold War. The representative of the embassy Liu Pengy expressed the opinion that countries should not create exceptional blocks, the purpose of which is to damage the third states.
Initially, the leaders of three countries reported the creation of a tripartite partnership. The agreement implies the transfer of Australian technology for the construction of atomic submarines
