In Afghanistan, the first meeting of the temporary government, formed by the militants of the Radical Movement “Taliban” (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia) was held. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Afghan Islamic Agency.
Cabinet members chaired by Mullah Mohammad Hasan Ahund discussed the current political and economic situation in the republic. The departments instructed to strengthen security control in the Afghan regions, in particular, in Kabul.
Taliban also noted that it is necessary to take measures as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration in the economic situation in the country. At the same time, they decided to send humanitarian aid to Panjscher province and removed the ban from illumination of the situation in the region in the media.
Earlier it was reported that Time magazine included a list of the most influential people in the world of the missing leader of the Political Office “Taliban” Mulla Abdul Gani Baradar. The publication states that Baradar takes all important decisions, including amnesty for members of the former Afghan government, and is also responsible for contact with the Taliban with neighboring states.
