The report of the European Parliament on the revision of relations with Russia is a set of controversial accusations. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharov at a briefing, the correspondent “Renta.ru” reports.
“The goal is obvious – to sharpen the already difficult relationship between Russia and the EU,” the diplomat added. She stated that the document, who also called the report on the Cold War with Russia, talks about interference in the internal affairs of the Russian state. Zakharov assured that Moscow will prevent this.
She accused the European Parliament for attempts to manipulate public opinion and the desire to influence the outcome of the elections. She also called a document by the collection of “ideological and conspiracy stamps” about Russia.
