Sweden’s court sentenced the 47-year-old sentence of the kingdom, allegedly spinning in favor of Russia, and decided to conclude him for three years. It is reported by TV channel SVT.
This is the first sentence for espionage over the past 18 years. The man worked as a consultant in Volvo Cars and Scania. The investigation believes that the subjects transferred the secret information of the companies to the Russian diplomat.
The indictment says that the man illegally transferred data from the working computers to USB carriers. According to the prosecutor, these actions are negotiating national security.

Law enforcement agencies detained a resident of Sweden in February 2019 during a meeting with an employee of the Russian Embassy. When detention, 47-year-old Swedes discovered about 28 thousand kroons (about three thousand dollars or 253 thousand rubles at the current course). On February 22, a man was charged with espionage in favor of Russia.
