On Saturday, September 18, 2021, the winners of the All-Russian competition visited the eastern cosmodrome. On the way from the city of Moscow to Vladivostok, the guys had the opportunity to get acquainted with the device of the newest and modern cosmodrome of Russia.
Some of the most talented students of Russia learned how the assembly of launch vehicles are being built, where spacecraft are prepared, what the “Soyuz-2” missile launch site looks like and what is a mobile service tower.
At the end of the day, the guys asked all the questions of the hero of Russia, the astronaut Roscosmos Alexei Ovchinin. Schoolchildren were interested in absolutely different questions: how to sleep in conditions of weightlessness, how much the space flight usually lasts, how there is a preparation for the flight, whether astronauts will be launched from the Eastern cosmodrome, what sensations during extracurricular activities, what experiments are held on board the international space station and what the international space station looks like Our planet from space?
The goal of the “big change” contest is to help students disclose those abilities that do not fall into the traditional school training system and the relevant subject Olympiads.
