Iranian President Ibrahim Raish commented on the entry of the republic to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), assembles CGTN. On September 18, he arrived in Dushanbe, where the summit passes.
Rasi called the full membership of Iran to the SCO “diplomatic success.” He noted that the presence of the republic in the organization creates strong economic ties between the countries and means the inclusion of Iran into the Economic Infrastructure of Asia.
He called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic and other profile departments to ensure all the necessary conditions in order to become more likely to get into operation. It is also said that during his visit to the capital of Tajikistan, countries managed to arrange “about the new chapter in economic, political and cultural relations.”
Previously, Raisi called on the countries of the SCO to create conditions for the development of Afghanistan so that the country could overcome the current problems. He stated that the countries of the region should assist the Afghan people in such a way that the inclusive government could create there. However, urged not to interfere in the affairs of Afghanistan from outside, so as not to provoke instability.
