Details of the Aukus trilateral agreement on defense partnership and security between the United States, Great Britain and Australia were discussed at the G7 Summit. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Sunday Telegraph newspaper.
The publication refers to the documents that in the Government of Great Britain are allegedly marked with a vulture “Top Secret.”
According to the publication, the discussion of the future contract was held in June at the G7 summit in British Cornwall, without the knowledge of the French president of Emmanuel Macron. It is reported that the transaction was attended by the ex-head of the UK Foreign Ministry Dominic Raab, despite the warnings that it could damage relations with China and France.
Earlier, the Forest Foreign Minister Le Drian rejected the application for discussion of plans for submarines with the United States. On the TV channel “France 2” called a false statement that Washington had previously discussed with Paris to create Australia submarines under Aukus Agreement and a contract breaking with France.
Summit “Seven Groups” passed from June 11 to 13 in Cornwall county in the south of England. Representatives of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, USA – who are members of the G7 participated in it. In addition, the Summit was attended by representatives of the European Union, as well as leaders of Australia, India, South Africa and South Korea.
