The Chinese Embassy in Russia stated that Chinese diplomats who worked as observers in the elections to the State Duma admired them and gave a high rating. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“The Chinese side believes that the elections to the State Duma were successful. All procedures corresponded to the Constitution of Russia, relevant laws and regulations, the whole process was prepared carefully,” noted in the embassy.
Also in the report of the department notes that the organization’s organization was professional and consistent. Thus, the forms of voting were innovative, with reliable technical support, “fully reflecting openness and transparency of democracy.”
Also in the diplomatic mission of China stated that voters showed an active participation and demonstrated civil liberation of Russia. The Chinese side has not recorded any violations on the voting.
Earlier, the head of the State Duma to investigate the facts of the intervention of foreign countries into the internal affairs of Russia, Vasily Piskarev stated that the Western media launched a propaganda campaign to discredit elections in Russia. In addition, Western corporations and NGOs were actively pressed on Russians in order to influence the results of the will of Russians, he noted.
