Court of the city Toulon in France sentenced the Activist depicting President Emmanuel Macron in the form of Adolf Hitler on the billboard, to a fine of ten thousand euros. This is reported by Euronews.
62-year-old Michel-Anza Flory was condemned for the public insult of the state leader. After sentencing, a man stated that he intends to appeal it. According to him, the court violated his right to caricature.
Florie Beranta Tour’s lawyer supported the activist. “The president, who so fiercely protects the freedom of expression, believes that this freedom ends at its August Person,” he concluded.
Macron sued the author of a banner at the end of July, when a huge advertising shield was put on the streets of the French city, on which the president was depicted in the image of Hitler. In the right side of the image with a politician in the form of the Nazi army on the background of the banner of the third Reich, an inscription was made: “Submit. Make vaccination.” Thus, the author of the Poster Flori spoke out against the introduction of sanitary passes and tightening antique regime.
