The header also shows the “LibreOffice” button, designed to start the initial interface, which was previously shown when starting or closing all documents, and allowed to open a file, clearly appreciate the recently open documents or create a new document based on template.
Instead of the classic menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.), a panel with basic commands, such as printing, as well as tabs to switch tool panels. All functions of the old menu line are moved to the drop-down menu, displayed when you press a separate MENU button. The panel also offers a new search form, which in addition to the content of the document, covers the search in commands, comments and reference system. In the upper right corner there is a button for quick switching between the design style (classic, traditional and standard).
