International Development Agency (USAID) has developed a draft program to combat Russia’s influence in European countries. It is reported by RT.
The project is aimed at eight countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia and Croatia. It became known that the United States plan to maintain in these countries the development of non-governmental organizations, the media and other civil society structures.
According to Washington, it will help the wards of determining Cruz “to ensure greater commitment to the general Euro-Atlantic goals.” To combat foreign intervention, the USAID program involves the modernization of state institutions supporting “transparency and democratic accountability”.
Big focus in the program is made to counter the “malicious efforts of the Kremlin.” For the implementation of its international project, USAID has already requested US President Joe Bayden 2.8 billion.
