First Deputy Minister of Finance Leonid Gormin said that most of the regions of Russia gradually emerge from the crisis and have a positive trend of the growth rate of their own income. His words are transferred to “Izvestia”.
According to Mountain, this year this figure will significantly exceed the planned values. The scarce regions will be no more than 25% as a whole, the specialist believes.
“I am confident that by over-fulfillment of the revenue part, according to conservative estimates, it will be about 1.2 trillion rubles – most of the subjects will be carried out balanced by their budgets,” he said. “Here is one way out – we will be in the government to make appropriate decisions, we will find sources, opportunities and approaches,” Gornin added.
At the same time, in 2020, each second region turned out to be deficient. Excess costs over the income of consolidated budgets of subjects amounted to 676.6 billion rubles, which became a record since 2006. As a result, 57 of the 85 subjects of Russia completed a year with a deficit.
