Sudan’s authorities are ready to place on their territory the base of the Navy (Navy) of Russia in exchange for economic assistance. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the military sphere.
According to him, the authorities of the country wish to make edits in the already concluded agreement on the military base in Port Sudan before the instrument ratification. They expect that Moscow will provide the Republic of the Pack of Economic Assistance within five years of operation of the facility, but are ready in return to extend the term of his lease to 25 years.
At the same time, the source noted that Russia has not yet responded to this offer. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Russian Federation or Sudan has not yet been commented by this information.
