The approval of the integration programs of the Union State (CG) of Russia and Belarus will be held on November 4, on the Day of People’s Unity. This was stated by the President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA reports.
This day will host a meeting of the Higher State Council of the SG. Representatives of the two countries will complete technical work on the coordination of 28 integration programs, which were discussed at the meeting of Lukashenko with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Serious work has already begun in this direction. It is necessary to turn the whole layer of domestic legislation to adapt to these agreements,” said the Belarusian leader.
He stressed that for this term, all documents will be “re-made” and adopted by the governments of both countries. “And especially our interstate treaties – they also have to comply with our agreements,” said Lukashenko.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin revealed the details of the content of the integration documents from Russia and Belarus within the framework of the Allied State. During the press conference on the results of the negotiations in the Kremlin with Alexander Lukashenko, he reported that in agreed documents it is about combining currency systems, the principles of mutual understanding of indirect taxes and the fight against terrorism.
