Poland Foreign Minister Zbignev Rau recognized Warsaw’s failure in confronting the implementation of the North Stream-2 project. It quotes TASS.
“Despite the enhanced discussions on this issue, we failed to stop this project, the construction will be completed,” recognized as Rau.
Diplomat added that the European Union now needs to focus on “preventing potential risks” for the safety of the association countries. In addition, he called on European partners to prevent split on issues regarding the “Northern Flow-2”.
At the end of July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marchin Pshidach said that the construction of the gas pipeline could end before. However, since Warsaw in every way prevented this, the project implementation was delayed. “The longer this gas pipeline is inactive, the better for the Central and Eastern Europe and the unity of the European Union,” said PRID.
