Tram wagons manufactured by the Ust-Katavsky Carriage Factory (ICEDP, enters the state corporation “Roscosmos”) entered the city of Taganrog and go to city routes.
Taganrog resumes tram movement along the updated section of paths. For city routes will be tramway cars produced by VHIZ. The Ust-Katavsky Carriage Plant is a contract partner of Sinara-Urban Transport Solutions Taganrog (Sinara-GTR Taganrog) for the production of tram cars in the framework of the concession agreement.
Integrated city tram concession between Sinara-GTR Taganrog and the municipal formation “Taganrog” suggests a complete replacement of the tram network and the accompanying infrastructure, as well as the purchase of a new, modern rolling stock for the city. In the current year, IVD will produce 10 tram cars of the model 71-628 for Taganrog. These are modern, completely low-voltage trams, characterized by unique structural and technological features, reliable and silent. In Taganrog there are 7 wagons produced by VHFs, which are currently undergoing the running procedures.
In 2022, another 50 carriages of the model 71-628 will be produced in the ICEDP for Taganrog. Thus, 60 wagons will be built to upgrade the city tram park of the city.
Friday, September 10, 2021, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko made a trip to the new tram of the VHFA, giving the launch of the tram movement in Taganrog after the first stage of modernization of urban transport infrastructure.
