Eight Americans, whose members killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, sued the National Institute of Standards and Technologies of the United States (Nist), the Ministry of Internal Affairs division, in order to “learn the truth” about terrorist attacks. This was reported on their website supporters of movement “Architects and engineers for the truth about September 11”.
Engineers and architects suspecting the American state in concealing the truth about what happened, joined the relatives of the dead. They also signed a request to NIST, where they were proposed to revise the official model of the fall of the third building of the World Trade Center – a 47-storey skyscraper, which brightened simultaneously with the twin towers. Nist rejected the request, and its submitters considered that this is contrary to the Constitution.
According to the official version of 2008, the building collapsed due to the fire, which began inside. As a result of an independent study, which was conducted by order at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), it turned out that such a description contradicts what was visible on video recordings from the scene. The model that engineers was built, indicates a drop in the building due to the simultaneous collapse of all support columns on one of the lower floors. In this regard, activists require the update of official information on the destruction of the building and the entire tragedy.
20 years ago, terrorists captured four civil liners. Two of them were sent to the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, one – in the building of the Pentagon, and the latter fell in the field. Almost three thousand people died, more than six thousand were injured.
