The United States believes that the Iranian authorities have not yet decided to return to negotiations on the restoration of a nuclear transaction or refusal. This was stated by the press secretary of the State Department Ned Price, writes RIA Novosti.
“This is the solution that they need to accept, the decision that they must report. They, as far as I know, did not accept such a decision and, of course, they did not report about it,” he said.
The United States called on Iran to the speedy resumption of negotiations in Vienna on the restoration of a nuclear transaction and warn that the possibilities for this are crucial.
Earlier it was reported on Washington’s readiness to remove some sanctions against Tehran to force Iran to return to the joint comprehensive action plan for its nuclear program. A spokesman for the White House Jen Psaka called the “encouraging” discussion on the fate of the Iranian nuclear transaction.
Iran’s CFD contract was concluded in the summer of 2015 between Tehran and six intermediary countries. Later, Iran was caught in gross violations of agreements. In early May 2018, the United States announced a unilateral exit from the transaction and the resumption of anti-Iranian sanctions. Iran reported a refusal to agreements on CRPD in January 2020.
