Lukashenko declared readiness to solve problems with EU through negotiations

Belarus is ready to negotiate with the countries of the European Union (EU) on all available issues. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Alexander Lukashenko during a press conference following the results of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, it is necessary to solve questions by negotiation, and not from the position of force or by providing sanitation pressure on Belarus. “What we need to do as a reliable partner, we will always do. If Europe wants these normal relations – please, we are ready to negotiate tomorrow,” said Lukashenko.

The Belarusian leader added that the republic can always contact Russia for help and support. He explained that if there was a need, the countries quickly “unite” and will jointly counteract all external threats in the interests of Russians and Belarusians.

On September 9, the negotiations of Russian Presidents and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko took place. During the conversation, the leaders agreed on all 28 programs to create an allied state. They are aimed at the unification of the legislation of Russia and Belarus in various fields of the economy, to align the conditions of the activities of economic entities of the two countries and the construction of uniform financial and energy markets.

Russia also promised by the end of 2022 to allocate Belarus financial assistance in the amount of $ 630 million. The price of Russian gas for Belarus on 2022 will continue at the level of the current year, uniform gas, oil and oil products and electricity markets will be created. Moreover, Putin made the creation of the Union Parliament.
