Russian and Belarusian peoples unites the origin. This was announced by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in the course of negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.
He declared the unity of Russian and Belarusians. “We are moving, like all civilized countries, only together, only in the Union – native states, close peoples,” said the head of the republic. At the same time, he stressed that their origin “from one root”.
September 9 Lukashenko arrived in the Kremlin to meet with Putin. It is planned that the heads of state will discuss the preparation and implementation of 28 allied programs, as well as the situation in Afghanistan and another relevant agenda.
During the negotiations of the Belarusian and Russian presidents, issues relating to the oil industry will be discussed. In addition, in August, Lukashenko also raised the question of obtaining another loan from Moscow, and on September 8, the Minister of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov was pointed to the possibility of additional financial support for Minsk.
