The first passenger aircraft will fly out from the airport on September 11. Data appeared that it would be official foreign flights. Previously, on the air of the Al Jazeera TV channel, the Special Foreign Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mutlak Al-Kachtani said that Qatar experts completed the repair of equipment at the airport.
Among other things, international commercial flights will resume. At the same time, evacuation flights, according to Al-Kachtan, are officially terminated. On September 4, it became known that two flights flew out of the Kabul airport – in Mazar – Sharif and Kandahar.
The runway by then was already repaired “in collaboration” with the authorities of Afghanistan. It was also reported that the airport will start receiving flights with humanitarian aid. The work of the UN Humanitarian Mission in this direction will be financed.
