Updates for Windows 11 have reduced weight due to optimization. It is reported by the ONMSFT edition.
Vice-President of the company Steve Dispens said, the difference between the current and new versions of the Windows operating system differ. According to the dispensary, the corporation engineers did a great job on OS optimization, making an emphasis on the management of RAM. Thus, the program windows displayed on the front layout always have a higher priority than the rest.
Also, thanks to the new mechanism, the new operating system responds to the user’s actions faster than the old one. “We optimized hardware components for better memory management. At the program level, we reduced the lack of resources for key processing streams to maintain the power of the OS,” the top manager opened the difference between the operating systems. Thanks to this, Windows 11, for example, faster comes out of sleep mode than Windows 10.
Specialist told about the function Sleeping Tabs in the built-in Edge browser when inactive tabs are discharged from memory. This made it possible to save processor resources and RAM on average by 37 and 32 percent, respectively. The dispensary also stated that the update files for Windows 11 will weigh less than the previous system.
The announcement of the new generation was held in June. Microsoft will start sending Windows 11 to user computers from October 5.
