US Embassy in Tajikistan will build several new objects for local border guards. It is reported by the press service of American diplomsses.
New buildings will be located in the village of Aivaj, not far from Tajik-Afghan and Tajik-Uzbek borders.
It is noted that this will allow border guards to unfold forces in border areas in case of acute necessity. Upon completion of construction, the Tajik border staff together with members of their families will be able to accommodate on the territory of the facilities.
In the diploma, the USA also stressed that since 2002, the United States has implemented projects in Tajikistan in the amount of over $ 300 million (more than 21.9 billion rubles under the current course). In particular, the American side helped to reconstruct 12 border shopping, nine throughput points and three training centers for border guards.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrei Rudenko said that Moscow would freely help Dushanbe to build a stamping at the Tajik-Afghan border and will continue to support in strengthening defense capability.
