J.P.Morgan predicted dividend yield of Rosneft in 9-12 percent

Rosneft’s dividend yield in 2021 and 2022 will be from 9 to 12 percent, which will be higher than the average sectoral level. This follows from the conclusions of the report of J.P.Morgan Bank. About this “Lente.ru” reported in Rosneft.

In August 2021, the Board of Directors of Rosneft recommended to pay intermediate dividends in the amount of 18.03 rubles per share, or a total of 191 billion rubles. This level of intermediate dividends is a record for Rosneft, it is celebrated in the J.P.Morgan report. The Rosneft dividend payout ratio is one of the highest in the industry and is 50 percent.

“Given the latest results, as well as the fact that the Russian oil company pays dividends twice a year, it can be expected that its dividend yield in 2021 will be higher than 10 percent. This is a very good indicator that exceeds the average maturity”, – Noted the investment strategist of the Criminal Code “Arikapital” Sergey Soverev.

Rosneft securities have become among the fastest growing on the Russian stock market. Since the end of December 2017, the cost of shares has increased by more than 85 percent.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, that is, from March 2020, the price of Rosneft shares has grown by more than 2.3 times, and in the first half of 2021 – more than 31 percent. At the same time, in early July, the cost of securities of the company reached a record from the moment of the IPO in 2006 – 586.95 rubles for a valuable paper.
