Earlier, the EU Supreme Representative on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel stated that the European Union will provide financial support to neighboring Afghanistan countries to accommodate refugees. In his opinion, Europe should extract lessons from the situation in Afghanistan to strengthen the transatlantic relationships and make them more balanced.
