The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharov recommended Western countries to stop interfering in the affairs of sovereign states in order not to face consequences. She reported this in its Telegram account.
So the diplomat commented on the desire of the West to stabilize the situation in the area of Afghanistan. The Minister for Immigration and Integration of Denmark Mattias Trefaye called on European countries to leave Afghan refugees in the region and “good financing international organizations” to improve the situation in the Middle East.
According to Zakharova, European states should not establish “democracy” in other countries “without legal grounds.” “Western countries must stop interfere in the affairs of sovereign states, so that it did not have to do what the Danish minister calls on,” the representative of the Foreign Ministry concluded.
Previously, Zakharov called the extraordinary position of the Western countries in Afghanistan. As the diplomat explained, Western partners are trying to draw conclusions from the current situation, despite the fact that they had 10-20 years for it. In her opinion, “it is strange to hear,” because Russia has long warned Europe on the risks of the violent “democratization” of the East and its consequences.
