The former Commander of the GROM special forces General Roman today has listed the WPOLITYCE eR> Washington errors when deriving troops from Afghanistan.
According to the Polish general, the American side made “all errors that can be”. In particular, the basic principles of military art were violated, according to which, first of all, it is necessary to save civilians, then “to export what can take out”, and then destroy the remaining that it does not fall into the enemy’s hands.
After that, it is necessary to withdraw the forces, protecting the path of waste and such strategic objects such as airfields and leading roads. Personally stressed that the Americans did not use any strategy when the military is derived from the region.
The ex-commander of the Polish special forces also added that the possibilities of hitting the arsenals of weapons in the hands of terrorists were not calculated. In his opinion, this failure could be foreseen, focusing on what was happening earlier in Iraq, in which after the withdrawal of allied troops control over the territory gained ISIL (organization prohibited in Russia).
May 1 began the official conclusion of US troops and the North Atlantic Alliance countries from the Afghan territories. After that, the situation in the country was aggravated, the forces of the Taliban were activated (prohibited in Russia). On August 15, the militants announced the establishment of control throughout Afghanistan.
