CEO of Dom.rf Vitaly Mutko said that accommodation prices in Russia increased by 13 percent in 2021. He told about this during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports TASS.
Mutko noted that last year the cost of housing increased by 15.5 percent. That is, on average prices for all time increased by 25 percent, he summarized.
According to the general director, “House.rf”, you need to balance the demand and introduce more housing. To the question of the President about the pace of construction this year, Mutko also stated that in 2021 they will be built in the region of 84-85 million square meters of housing.
Previously, Mutko called the number of Russian families who wish to live in private houses. According to the results of a social survey, 70 percent of families stated about the desire to live in private homes – about 40 million, said Mutko. At the same time, about 18 million families live in such conditions. The general director “Dom.rf” added that following the first half of the year, the number of housing, which was introduced within the framework of individual and housing construction, was ahead of the commissioning of apartment buildings.
