Biden ordered to prepare spare plans for evacuation from Afghanistan

US President Joe Biden gave instructions to the Pentagon and the State Department to develop spare plans for the event of a change in evacuation terms from Afghanistan. This was reported by the official representative of the White House, Jen Psaki, reports CNN.

According to her, the American leader made it clear that the mission in Kabul will be completed depending on the achievement of the objectives of the United States.

Despite the fact that the United States is exporting tens of thousands of people from the country, many Afghans who helped the American military, still expect their turn to leave. Currently, evacuation takes place at such a pace to complete the mission by August 31, the psaki noted.

Earlier, Biden stated the leaders of the “Big Seven” (G7) that the possibility of extending the US mission in Afghanistan is preserved. According to the interlocutor of the American newspaper, Biden noted at the meeting G7 that the deadline for the withdrawal of American troops from the country remains on August 31 due to the high risk of terrorist attacks.

Representatives of the Radical Movement “Taliban” (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia) stated that the American authorities did not apply for the extension of the term, and threatened Washington by a military response in the event of a late withdrawal of troops. Taliban require international community to bring all foreign troops from the territory of Afghanistan until August 31.
