He stressed that Taichibekov was unjustly sentenced by the Kazakh court to seven years in prison for calls “to be friends with Russian, love Russia.”

The political scientist also remembered the activities of the Kazakh activist Katu Ahmetov, who organized “Language Patrol” in Kazakhstan, whose members call Russian “Gastarbaters” and make me apologize to the chamber. “Caath Akhmetov was sentenced only if in the equivalent to Russian rubles, to 25 thousand rubles [fine] for hateing in a really hatred between Russian and Kazakhs in Kazakhstan. Where is justice?” – the collector was indignant.

On August 19, it became known that the court of Almaty sentenced Ermek Taichibekov to seven years of the colony of a strict regime on the article on the incitement of an interethnic retail. The reason for criminal prosecution was an interview in which he spoke about the distribution of Russophobic sentiment and oppression of Russians in Kazakhstan.

On the same day, the police detained Kuata Akhmetov in the criminal case of inciting cross-ethnic retail. The law enforcement officers released him after an hour, wringing him a fine of 145 thousand tenge (25,219 rubles).
