Lithuania will punish his companies for trade with Belarus

Lithuanian authorities decided to punish some of their companies and leave them without state support. Enterprises selling with Belorussia do not receive subsidies from the budget. This was told on the ether of the National Radio LRT Minister of Economy and Innovation Lithuania Aushrine Armoneite.

She noted that those who are engaged in business with Belorussia “have already become accustomed to the surprises of the autocratic state.” The minister admitted that there are difficulties, since some Lithuanian companies suffered from EU sanctions against Minsk and mutual restrictive measures.

In August, the head of the state-owned “Lithuanian Railways”) Mantas Bartushki said that the loss of transit of Belarusian potash fertilizers would lead to a shortage of funds for the content of railway infrastructure in the amount of 60 million euros. This money, in his opinion, should be compensated for subsidies from the state budget.

In early July, Lithuanian authorities introduced a state of emergency due to the influx of illegal migrants from the territory of Belarus. In the migration crisis, Vilnius accused Minsk and personally by the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. In Lithuania, the Belarusian authorities use illegal immigrants for the “hybrid attack” to European countries.
