Leader of resistance detachments in Panjshter refused to pass province of Taliban

The leader of the resistance detachments in Panjsheter Ahmad Masood (the son of the famous Afghan field commander Ahmad Shah Masuda, killed in 2001 – approx. “Tape.ru”) refused to capitulate and transfer the province to the Taliban authorities. This is reported by Al Arabyya TV channel with reference to the leader of the uprising.

According to Masud, the rebels intend to resist radicals. “If they try to establish control over Panjshcher, we are ready with resistance. We had resistance to the USSR, we can provide him with the Taliban,” Masood said. He added that he was ready to forgive the Taliban (a terrorist organization, prohibited in Russia) killing his father, if conditions for peace and security in Afghanistan were fulfilled.

However, he noted, representatives of the radicals refused to negotiate with Panjsher’s resistance, which gave the end of the war in the country. Masud expressed confidence that the Taliban will not be able to be in power for a long time if force to force people to admit power.

On August 22, the Taliban called on the armed opposition squads in the province of Panjucher to surrender. The leader of Resistance to Ahmad Masudoo was given four hours to transfer the province under the control of the Taliban. It is noted that the dedication of radicals have already reached the province and are ready to start the seizure operation.

Earlier it was reported that the detachments opposing the militants in Panjsheter, beat the attack of extremists to the province. Masood Jr. stressed that his forces lead the war not just with the Taliban, but with the “terrorist group, published from under the control of Pakistan.”
