Polish Defense Minister Mariusha Blazkak accused Russia in the migration crisis. In his opinion, it was the actions of the Russian authorities that led to the exacerbation of the situation with migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border, RIA Novosti reports.
“The problem on the border is a dirty game [President of Belarus Alexander] Lukashenko and the Kremlin,” the politician said and added that he would say the damage on the border with Poland by deliberate actions by Belarusian security officials.
Also, Blazhak rigidly criticized opposition officials who delivered migrants to provisions and sleeping bags. “Deputies of the opposition and their performance on the border fit into the Scenario of Lukashenko,” the minister was indignant, calling the parliamentarians to come to his senses and stop looking like “political idiots.”
Previously, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marchin Pshidach called the situation with migrants on the border with Belorussia provocation. According to him, Warsaw is negotiating with Minsk.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus with EU countries began in May after Lukashenko threatened to weaken control abroad. Later, he stated that Belarus is not obliged to host refugees who “go into enlightened, warm, cozy Europe.”
