Russia: demand for gaming laptops has grown

According to the company’s analysts, over the past year, the demand for gaming laptops grew by 27 percent. This is associated with a stable situation on the market of this product and the popularity of home entertainment in a pandemic. Sales of gamers computers increased by 55 percent, up to 25 billion rubles. The most popular manufacturers of laptop computers were Asus, Lenovo, Acer, HP and MSI. The whole market of Russian laptops in the first six months amounted to about 1.4 million pieces and more than 80 billion rubles.

Sales of goods of this segment grew by 70 percent – up to one hundred thousand pieces and 1.3 billion rubles. “Ergonomic chairs choose not only game lovers in order not to experience fatigue and discomfort during long-term stay in front of the monitor, but also those who work or learn remotely from the house,” the report says.

At the end of June, Aliexpress representatives said that since the beginning of the year, the demand for laptops in Russia increased by one and a half times. The most popular models from the catalog of the trading platform were computers worth from 33 to 65 thousand rubles.
