The US Ministry of Finance announced the introduction of sanctions against companies and vessels related to the construction of the North Stream-2 gas pipeline, betrays.
As explained in the department, it is about the companies “Nobiliti” and “Constant”, the courts “Ivan Sidorenko” and “Ostap Sheremeth”. At the same time, restrictions will not be introduced to the work of the “Muspluswork” of Russia, not related to Russian pipelines.
Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden issued a decree that would allow to introduce sanctions in connection with “specific energy projects” of the Russian state, in particular, it concerns the North Stream-2 gas pipeline. The statement states that the Decree of the Head of State is aimed at strengthening the energy security of Europe.
The Government of Great Britain also introduced sanctions against seven employees of the FSB of Russia, which considers it involved in the incident with Alexey Navalny (founder of the FBK included in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation into the register of organizations that perform the functions of a foreign agent, and a recognized extremist organization). Restrictions involve the freezing of accounts of accused persons in British banks, as well as a ban on entry into the territory of Great Britain.
