The United States from September 7 introduces restrictions on the import of certain types of Russian firearms, as well as export of nuclear technologies. The decision made the decision was announced by the State Department of the country, RIA Novosti reports.
it clarifies that measures will affect the “defined form” of domestic weapons and ammunition, as well as “export of nuclear and rocket products and technologies.”
Representatives of the department indicated that the decision was made against the background of the incident with the use of chemical weapons. According to the plans, the restrictions will act at least a year.
Earlier it became known that US President Joe Biden issued a decree that would allow to introduce sanctions in connection with “specific energy projects” of the Russian state, in particular, this concerns the gas pipeline “Northern Stream-2”.
