NATO has declared completion of mission in Afghanistan

NATO announced the completion of its mission in Afghanistan. Representatives of allies on the block are now left only on the territory of Kabul airport. This was announced by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg following the videoconference of the NATO Foreign Minister, writes RIA Novosti.

“NATO completed his military mission in Afghanistan. Allies are now located on the territory of the airport. Different countries have done everything possible for the withdrawal of all the forces and return all equipment,” the agency leads his words.

he explained that part of the equipment delivered by member countries remained in Afghanistan, part was destroyed, everything that was able to take out – taken out. Stoltenberg also recalled the readiness of some countries to host Afghan refugees.

Earlier, on August 20, it became known that Albania, Uganda, Mexico and Chile were offered to accommodate the US who had helped by the United States – those who filed a special immigration visa and expect to solve the American authorities.
