Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marchin Pshidach on TVN channel called the situation with migrants on the border with Belorussia provocation. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, Warsaw is negotiating with Minsk. He added that this situation is the “political action [President of Belarus] Alexander Lukashenko.”
“There can be no consent to use these people ruthlessly like live shields, as a tool of political pressure on the Polish people. These are migrants sent here by Alexander Lukashenko, which thus trying to provoke the crisis,” said the Minister.
Earlier, the Programmit Committee of Belarus accused the Polish authorities in an attempt to displace the Belarusian territory of refugees from Afghanistan.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus with EU countries began after in May, against the background of the next exacerbation of relations with the West, President Alexander Lukashenko threatened to weaken control abroad. Later, he stated that Belarus is not obliged to host refugees who “go into enlightened, warm, cozy Europe.”
