He called “unique” circumstances in the Middle Eastern country and noted that Washington has no intention to demand reimbursement with those who run from Afghanistan.
According to one of the paragraphs of American legislation, the US State Department must require compensation for charter evacuation flights organized by the American side. Refugees or American citizens may pay for them. The price of the export ticketually is usually comparable to the price of the economy class of the specified destination.
At the same time, the Politico newspaper wrote with reference to one of the Americans evacuated from Afghanistan, what the opportunity to get on the board of the American aircraft, the State Department employees demanded up to two thousand dollars with US citizens – and even more from foreigners.
