In Kazakhstan, the “Taliban” radical movement has not been recognized (prohibited in Russia), whose representatives fully captured power in Afghanistan. This was stated at the briefing Deputy Foreign Minister Akan Rakhmetullin, reports TASS.
According to him, the authorities of the republic continue to closely monitor the situation in Afghanistan and hope for peaceful transit of power with the subsequent creation of the Taliban of the representative and “inclusive” government. Rakhmetullin reminded that on the eve of Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry, a formal statement was made, in which the position of the authorities in relation to the “Taliban”.
The report of the foreign policy statement states that Kazakhstan insists on compliance with the rights of national minorities and women, as well as to prevent the presence of groups of threats to other states.
“The fulfillment of these provisions should be a prerequisite for the start of the dialogue with the new power of Afghanistan,” they emphasized the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev pointed out that the unstable political situation in Afghanistan threatens the security of Central Asian countries. He explained that the leaders of the Central Asian republics against the Taliban would have to make complex decisions and act carefully to ensure stability in the region.
On August 15, the militants of the Radical Movement “Taliban” reported control over the entire territory of Afghanistan. The radicals noted that in the near future will be announced the creation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
