The British government imposed sanctions against seven Russian FSB employees, which considers any involvement with Alexei Navalny (founder FBK included the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the register of organizations that perform functions of a foreign agent, and recognized as an extremist organization). This is reported by TASS.
Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation called the case of Navalny by a planned provocation, which according to the department aims to discredit Russia. According to the department, Germany could not provide evidence of its accusations towards the Kremlin. The Ministry of Justice of Germany ignored eight appeals of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on international investigation assistance.
The Foreign Ministry also emphasized that the topic of Navalny seems to be closed for the government of Germany. For this reason, Berlin refuses items to discuss it with Moscow.
